Chef Joe says

We work holidays to make other peoples holiday’s special.

We don’t get to spend time with our families and friends like everybody else.

The food distributors and wholesale suppliers work right alongside us to make the holidays special.

Are we miserable? Do we regret having chosen this profession?

I feel blessed. I get to do what I like. It makes others happy. But most of all while others only celebrate a couple of holidays a year we get to celebrate every other day.

Our coworkers, suppliers and the distributors that work with us are our extended family. We enjoy what we do. We party all the other days as our holiday.

355 days or more a year are our holidays. We party every day.

So when you go out to celebrate your holiday thank those that are working. Don’t feel bad for us. We get to party every other day.
