Mysteries of Fiction

We live inside a story

Characters come to life and become part of you

The crystals in the sky shine bright, dipping in the depths of cosmic seas, in ice the breeze traverses the bounty of mountains, all glazed and mixed with molten lava erupting out of the deepening ends of the rugged sand-made volcano that is boiling within. The lava is an elixir of a bountiful life, an immersive experience. All things feel real even if it's a mind’s baby brought out with the fissures of our imagined realities.

We all have too many faces to hide, in concentric circles, we spin in the angular corners of fate. Imagining fighting the devils off in the multiversal rivalries, the time becomes a cut-loose concept, characters appear, actors break open their screens and lay with you, you become them, they become you. The imagination steers into the convoluted lines of myth and realities, spinning together simultaneously.

Characters break the bend of your mind, they live and die with you. You fall for them, they fall for you. Everything is hunky dory the time is theirs, and so is you! In hindsight, we all like to be loved and be part of someone riveting’s enchanting imagination. The shadows and the the surround sound enveloping it come to life, and it becomes hard to bid adieu to them, as they are not real and we seldom live inside a story whether read seen or imagined.

Bum bum: Is it me or do you feel the breeze heavy today? Maa said to me, all our dreams are a projection and our intuition is our thoughts.

Dum dum: Ohho! Bum bum you are building castles in the air, our heads are not built normally.

Bum bum: We are different, but different is good? Is it?

Dum dum: You tell me? Crazy world Bum bum it takes time to understand the grand designs of mind and wants.

Bum bum: I want to be trapped inside the shows we watched. It pains my heart when everything ends, it's hard to say goodbyes, they ain’t pretty at all.

Dum dum: Tell you what Bum bum! The mind is a maze and everything we desire when projected is on screens. Some unfinished murmurs are often replicated by the characters I want to be friends with.

Bum bum: I cried a lot yesterday, he was part of me, in this disease that I live with which is like a cancer of my mind, I find solace in him.

Dum dum: Remember Michael Scott from ‘The Office’ had to leave his Office for Holly and move to Colorado, I cried with him. And then when he returned for Dwight’s wedding it was never the same. He was quieter, gentler, and calmer, the virtual world changed him. But how will I believe that when I did not see any of that in reality?

Bum bum: It won’t be the same, it changes, people change, times change, and beings change.

Dum dum: But do we change?

Bum bum: I wish we could, deeply etched in our hearts for many years and the moment we play the show again we hope we get to see the fun parts again and again, repeat and repeat till all our lives begin to die, or just bleed nostalgia from our sunken hearts.

Cosmic context: Any story we weave whether through pictures, stories, videos, art, drawing, or just narration, we often see ourselves in the character we imagine. Or if not that then maybe become a friend of them and since you see all their shades you feel like you are his/her best friend. But then nothing lasts perennially, things are never permanent, and somewhere all of the feelings come to a standstill and you feel sad coming out of the story that you were trapped in. It takes months, weeks or even the sight of the resemblance of that story or character or even the physical body of the art makes you sensitive and vulnerable like someone died for you and you can never get them back even if everything was not real.
