We Have a Democratic Republic
This is because the Rule of the Majority does not rule. The “Individual” does. Our “System of Government” does that.
As the story published “On Democratic Socialism” shows. Human beings are the notes from a piano keyboard. They are all different, and different combinations make different music together. The only limitation of the piano key design is the left/right arm reach of an average person sitting in the middle.

Human beings get together and make political music together. However, the combination of notes there is infinite. We agree to our political credos by approximations of what we believe is true. Colin Wright’s cartoon in the previous story on “Democratic Socialism” was close to correct for some, but others found a new truth by reexamining the evidence.
The System We Have
At the base of Capitalism is YOU — you utilizing your potential to create a marketable product, whether material or intellectual. Something that the existing market needs or something the market does not even know exists.
YOU are in charge of your destiny. YOU decide what to do with yourself. Our “Moral Law (The Declaration of Independence) is what makes man honorable in our system.

The Logic
“A” is the very base of our “Moral Law” — at the bottom of the logic tree is the basis for the Declaration of Our Independence. These are: 1. The Laws of Nature — we have been free to roam the world throughout our existence and barter based on our work (the “King” would not let us); 2. The Laws of God — As opposed to the “Divine Right of Kings,” applies to We, “the people,” and to ALL Humanity, and the reasoning is in the Logic levels “B, C, E” to arrive at our concluding thought “We Declare we are an Independent Nation.”
The Declaration of Independence makes each of us “Sovereign.”
Please note the fact that our Moral Law specifies the fact that we “Have Unalienable Rights.” The “rights” listed in the Constitution are “Examples” of our unalienable rights, not all of them. The ones listed are the obvious ones. ANY SCOTUS interpretations are “liberties” taken by People given authority, based on our vote, that have natural biases, just like you and me. This is why SCOTUS Judges study “The Federal Papers,” previous laws, and other observations (many written into the Hillsdale College book reader, “The U.S. Constitution”).
Social terms and conditions are based on this. Meaning that the “Law of the Land” (The Constitution) allows each of us to achieve what our “potential” and our “ganas (the will to use that potential)” get us to achieve (The Declaration of Independence — Our Moral Law).
For this, our forefathers created a society that they declared to England WILL exist in this Nation, and it is the reason for our “Declaration of Independence,” where the individual is “King.”
Like a “king,” the individual, every single one of us, has the God-given right to be somebody and to be protected by the government that, then, was TBD and not mentioned. Meanwhile, the 13 Colonies formed a government to show solidarity. In that government, called the “Continental Congress (1774 to 1789).” Many of the facts that follow were learned by an eloquent piece of History.
The Continental Congress was originally formed to fight for their rights to do business worldwide directly without asking for subservient “permission” from the “King.” Over time and without any progress on that front, the idea of “independence was born.
In the spring of 1776, the provisional colonial governments decided to vote for Independence. This was driven by the fact that they had no local means to create an armament industry, and they would need foreign help (France), and the only way to get it was by such a declaration. The “Declaration of Independence” was drafted (Thomas Jefferson).
Embedded in that document is the solid logic used that is “our Moral Law.” Why? That is the basis for the “Constitution,” where each of us is declared “king.”
King of our lives to serve ourselves to the top of our potential and to serve our society to the best of our ability.
In the “Continental Congress,” formed by our forefathers. They saw what the rule by the Majority did and how what happened grew unrestricted inflation. For this reason, they added the “Electoral College.”
The Constitution was developed over time, and the thinking in its development is described in a set of papers that makes up a book available to all called “The Federalist Papers.”
For all those who bemoan “our form of government and Capitalism,” and for this, they think that becoming one more face in the crowd of “Socialism -> Communism,” think again.
The ONLY form of government that elevates the individual to the heights our Forefathers aspired to is what Humanity is. All others just look at us as “people.” All punch-out duplicates of each other are to be treated the same and without brain distinction.
If we could imagine the potential of each individual as water flowing into a deep dam. The height of the dam is built not only for the amount of water flowing to the dam but also for what that individual does with that potential. The dam has to be built to hold back the water pressure created by its height. That pressure is the “usable energy” of our brains. What we do with that energy is for us to decide. When not used, it goes to waste. Dams have overflow gates to allow water to flow down the river without its potential used.
The dam is built through discipline. We go to school to learn how to learn mainly. Today, many businesses want to “see” a certificate and prove how high a dam you built. Many of us don’t have that but a basic certificate called a Bachelors degree. And we do not let that stop us from exceeding all expectations.
On the other hand, there are some people with extreme intelligence, and they cannot build a dam at all.
A true-to-life Example: there is a river coming down the Andes (a young and steep set of mountains, perfect for dams). It was determined that a very tall, narrow dam could be built there, and it offered a lot of potential energy. To anchor the dam, the foundation had to be built along the depth of the dam. When the engineers started blasting to build the anchors, the blasting created cracks in the granite, and the cracks could heard propagating for days throughout the mountain. This indicated unstable granite, and the dam could not be built for that reason (many unintended consequences could be foreseen).
This is also true for people. Some people are very intelligent, but their brain instability will never allow them to build on their potential.
That is what family is about. Family is the kernel of care for the individual. Humanity parceled itself out through the world, and like all other animals, we also nurtured our own. However, since we are “Human — Rational Animals,” we recognize “Family” as being the Kernel, our “social kernel.” We take care of our own to the best of our ability. We are united by Blood.
This system and the reason many governments have adopted it works best for all the people because it gives us true freedom of choice. It is a choice without having to change our piano notes because each of us counts, and it allows us to join with all others because we are all free to be ourselves without having to fit into a template.
