We Don’t Have To Step On Each Other’s Toes
The Chinese proverb 井水不犯河水 (jǐng shuǐ bú fàn hé shuǐ) can be translated as “well water does not intrude on river water.” This saying emphasizes the importance of acknowledging boundaries. Much like the way well water and river water naturally remain separated, people should respect each other’s personal space and coexist peacefully without needlessly causing conflicts or disruptions.
I would really appreciate it if you could please stay on the page
for at least 30 seconds to help me support my work as per Medium's new changes.there’s a proverb’s grace a guiding light in life’s order well water doesn’t interfere with river water teaching us harmony on common ground
as i tread the path ahead minding my own way in the quiet of each and every day as i believe in the golden rule’s embrace do unto others as you would have them do unto you
our society is intricate by design web of lives intertwining entwined it whispers of a natural order’s respect matters
it implores us to live in peace and harmony embracing the diversity different beliefs different values we can hold our hands we can try to understand and respect each other
yet some chose to go rogue resisting the order creating havoc everywhere meddling in the affairs of others breaking hearts causing discord ruining relationships can’t we stand for mutual respect?
i implore you grant me my space to breathe free from your chaos i seek reprieve don’t impose your will on me respect the lines in our mutual bounds where our world intersects we can forge a world where we don’t have to step on each other’s toes
