We have a choice
We are not that overwhelmed at all
The people who were present in the beginning of the times didn’t wear clothes because it was least of their worries.
The times took a turn and a lot changed, in present day world much more is spent on clothes than on food. In fact when we visit an expensive restaurant the bill we pay there, is for the show and the setup they have over there, food is least of their worries I think . I am not implying that their food isn’t good, I am just saying maybe it isn’t worth the amount we pay for it.
Now lets focus on the reason of this talk here. In our everyday life we have to face a lot of different things plus the people.
We argue about being made to do things but to me “we are not that much overwhelmed as much as we think we are”, we might not be able to change the things coming our way, but we can control how we react to them.
We might not control what choices we have, but we can always make the better ones, out of those provided to us.
We might not be able to have one person’s love we want, but we should be open to new experiences, because there are many that deserve our love.
And above all, what we choose to be after going through everything is our “choice “ one might think it is not, but it is.
People going through any part of life can decide what they want for themselves and then can decide why don’t they want the same for their friends, family, neighbors and for those who are part of their society.
The choices we make, the paths we take, the voices we raise, the moments we create, define us.
We are free to choose a lot that can help make everything much better. There are no people who are not answerable to anyone, so what we can do is start and realize that it is the combined effect of the collective approach of all of us towards life that will decide our future, career, whatever we want them to be.
Now think about a scenario where you go to a government office and have to face a lot in the process to complete whatever work you have there.
Remember this, you are made to wait a lot, have to face many of the shortcomings that our system has, you are tired by it, want to punch someone but can’t and at the end of the day , when you go home, though you succeeded in the work you had there, but still the system took the best of you due to the slow work process there.
Keep in mind when you grow up and succeed to assume one of those offices, like the one where you were tested like hell, were frustrated by the work process there, why don’t you become better than those before, so no one has to face what you did the day you came there for that little work of yours.
Now you didn’t have the choice before but now you do, and what you do might make it easy for someone like you.
It is just this thought that we should try and be better than those before us, and if everyone starts thinking the same way, then those coming after us will definitely have better future than our present.
What we have today shouldn’t be a problem for those whom we want to inspire for their better tomorrow.
