Love turns to hate, friendship turn to dust,

As the wheel of time rotates, the world around us dissipates,

Columns that once stood tall, now crumble to the ground,

The monuments of the proud, now break down all around,

We lose so much we hold dear, the future, it’s never certain, it’s never clear,

But what is life without any hope? That it all gets better one day with destiny’s stroke,

This world can be cruel, there is no doubt, but that is not all that life is about,

We shall live this life and make it through, let’s fight for love, let’s fight for what’s true,

We are stronger than we know, more than what seems possible, one day you’ll see my friend, that we are invincible!

Nobody who has lived long enough is a stranger to suffering or adversity, it has a different meaning to each and every one of us. Some can face it head on, some need a little assistance, a little guidance but many do not find it, some do not even try to because of fear. The world has turned colder yes, but there are a LOT of kind people who go out of their way to help others. I have met them and ever so often I have tried to be one of them.
