We Are All Lost and It’s Okay
Because that’s how life works

We all have different struggles in our life. And there was a time in my life when something very drastic happened to me and it disturbed me mentally.
Even though I used to laugh and smile around people but there was something bothering me all time. I could sense that my heart is heavy and I craved peace.
I was lost.
But things changed over time. I overcome my struggle by talking to one of the closest people to my heart — my Brother and he helped me to come out of the shit. If today someone says to me that if you can go back in time and if you are given the chance to erase that event forever will you do it?
My answer would be — No, I don’t want to erase it.
Do you know why?
Because that event was hurtful and I stayed with that event for so many years but that event mold me into the person I am today.
It made me spiritually connected to God. It made me kind and generous. It made me realize the importance of life. It made me happy internally.
It was not just the end of the struggle because life takes your test continuously. After, the acceptance of that past, there is always another in line. To date, I embrace every hardship and I realized that sometimes you just have to accept things.
I can give example, my grandmother-in-law’s 18-year young son died. I have heard that for one year she didn’t even step out of home apart from the daily chores. She grieved, and it’s natural for a mother to feel that but as time passed she accepted the fact that her son is no more and can’t come again. Though she grieved till her last breath for her son.
“In everybody’s life, there’s a point of no return. And in a very few cases, a point where you can’t go forward anymore. And when we reach that point, all we can do is quietly accept the fact. That’s how we survive.” — Haruki Murakami
If you are lost and I want to say that it’s okay. Maybe you are going through the worst phase of life but I can say that it will teach you a beautiful lesson and it’s going to be alright.
Life is all about lessons and till our death bed, we all are going to fight for it.
I believe the fact that there will be a time in everyone’s life which will mold them to a good or bad. It totally depends on how they reacted to the event. But that event will be very hard to even accept and digest but it will change your life.
Life is uncertain for all of us. I have lost my uncle because of blood cancer a few months back. It was all of a sudden case. We didn’t even know that this calamity was coming our way. He just fainted, we took him to hospital and within a week he was gone. In the following week, her daughter was about to get married but God showered us with some different plans and he was no more.
It was a nightmare for us.
Maybe you are going through a deadly disease like cancer or you have lost a child or going through some type of abuse or are in debt or going through many other drastic events. I am here to say it’s okay.
It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay If you’re lost, we’re all a little lost and it’s alright It’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay, it’s okay If you’re lost, we’re all a little lost and it’s alright — It’s okay ( Song by Nightbirde)
You will find a way. Hang in there. Feel your emotions. Take time. Grief. And accept it if there’s a dead-end or change it by working towards it.
