Summary

The website content is a passionate plea for unity and equality, emphasizing that all lives matter regardless of race, age, gender, or social status, in the wake of global events such as the death of George Floyd.

Abstract

The author of the web content expresses a heartfelt call for recognition of our shared humanity, drawing inspiration from the song "I am Australian" by The Seekers. The piece is a response to the societal unrest and discussions surrounding racial injustice, particularly in light of the tragic death of George Floyd. It underscores the importance of empathy and understanding, asserting that superficial differences like skin color or socioeconomic status should not divide us. The author argues for the intrinsic value of every human life and points out the interconnectedness of all people, urging for a collective awakening to these truths to foster balance and harmony in society.

Opinions

  • The author believes that the phrase "Black lives matter" should be extended to include all humans, suggesting that the focus on skin color detracts from our shared humanity.
  • There is a strong opinion that societal labels such as race, age, gender, status, job title, and wealth are irrelevant to the value of a human life.
  • The author is frustrated with the repeated lessons on equality and humanity that seem to be ignored, as evidenced by the ongoing incidents of injustice and violence.
  • The piece conveys a sense of urgency for societal change and an end to the indoctrination that leads to harmful consequences and loss of life.
  • The author emphasizes the need for empathy and understanding to prevent future tragedies, suggesting that a lack of these qualities is at the root of societal issues.
  • There is an appeal to the most fundamental level of existence, even equating the importance of human lives to that of the soil, to illustrate the deep connection between all living things.
  • The author acknowledges their own emotional response, describing the content as a rant fueled by the desire for clarity and consciousness in the face of societal unconsciousness.
  • The author endorses the words of Henery X, who also called for a collective awakening to the reality that we are all one and the same.

We are all Human

An anger and sadness charged rant

We are one, but we are many. And from all the lands on earth we come. We share a dream. And sing with one voice….I am, you are, we are HUMAN.

These are lyrics from the Seekers song “I am Australian”.

Their original line is I am, you are, we are Australian.

I substituted Australian with HUMAN.

After reading a few articles this morning about George Floyd this song came to mind.

I found myself compelled to write something.

Black lives matter.

Pink lives matter.

Yellow lives matter.

Brown lives matter.

White lives matter.

The skin colour makes no fucking difference.

Humans matter.

Young lives matter.

Old lives matter.

Age doesn’t make a fucking difference.

Gender doesn’t make a fucking difference.

Race doesn’t make a fucking difference.

Status doesn’t make a fucking difference.

A job title doesn’t make a fucking difference.

A bank balance doesn’t make a fucking difference.

Humans matter.

We are all HUMAN.

ALL LIVES MATTER.

How many more times do we need to have this lesson given to us before things change?

“I can’t breathe”

How many more times does this need to be someone’s final words after false indoctrination leads to consequences that can not be undone.

Lives lost.

For what?

Lack of clarity. Lack of understanding. Lack of empathy.

When will we learn that no matter the colour of our skin, where we were born, what we eat for dinner, the language we speak, the age we are, we are all human.

All lives matter.

If we want to get down to the most basic living matter – our soil…even that matters!

Fucks sake.

It is all connected.

The ripples of consequences felt by us all.

Balance and harmony desperately needed.

I am ranting. I know I am. I can’t help it.

The ability to rise above the muck of humans’ unconsciousness to see clarity is challenging.

“I can’t breathe”

When will the world WAKE UP?

Henery X (long) asked the same just last week.

We’re all one and the same.

His words carrying an added layer of urgency.

WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!
