Ways to Deal With Stress
That are really easy to do
As I am sure all of us know, life is extremely stressful. Or at least can be. Some days more than others. Focusing on our mental health is so vital. We need to learn ways to handle the stress, so it does not consume us. There are a few different ways to ease stress.
Exercise
Working out a day can be so therapeutic. Getting your heart rate up can make such a difference. It does not have to be the most intense workout. Even a walk outside or yoga can help get your blood flowing and it also makes you focus on something else other than what you are stressed about. You can also relieve the tension by getting that excess energy out of your system with a nice workout. Even stretching in the morning can make a difference. Anything that gets your blood flowing and thoughts at bay.
Training gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body.

Venting
Talking about your feelings can help tremendously. It helps when you have someone who wants to listen to you. Sometimes advice is warranted but not always necessary. Most of the time we just want to be heard and listened to. No feedback just someone who is there to listen. If you have someone willing to do that for you do not take it for granted. Get your feelings out. You will feel so much better. Talking about whatever is stressing you out can help relieve the stress. Journaling could be a form of venting. If you do not want to speak to anyone about what you are stressing about then journal it. Get it out on paper. Whichever way works best for you just get those thoughts out of your head.
Calming Activities
There are so many peaceful activities we can do to calm down and relieve stress. There is coloring, meditation, drawing, painting, crafting. This list is endless. I prefer coloring since I am not great at drawing or crafting. All these activities do not require a lot of brainpower. Just let your imagination take control and just do whatever you want. You are in control of that project and you can make it into anything. It is a relaxing process. Do what you like to do and ease the stress away.
Supplements
If you decide that it would be easier to take a supplement. Ashwagandha is supposed to be a stress reliever. Matcha is also a good one. I have grown to love making matcha lattes. I see a difference in my mood after consuming a matcha drink. Of course, always consult a doctor or research before starting any supplements.
However, you want to relieve the stress do it your way. There is no right or wrong way to relieve stress. Your mind, your body, your thoughts, relieve yourself of the stress however you want. Listen to your body and act on what it needs, if you feel overwhelmed and need a walk, go take a walk. Do not let the stress build-up, take time for yourself. Stress can lead to serious mental deterioration, prevent that from happening. Release the stress before it dominates you.
