Every silver lining has a cloud

It was a beautiful day as we toured the islands. Heavy rain was predicted but the closest we got to that forecast was dark clouds. The sun valiantly shone through — sometimes feebly, sometimes fiercely, turning the water into a dazzling sheath.

Just as we admired the white fluffy clouds, they turned dark without warning and bent towards the water, as if to see their reflection, mirrored on the surface. We were spellbound by the union of land, water, and sky.
