Water Goddess, The Mother of Rivers

Tethys is her name. I met her in Southern Oregon. I was sitting by a slow-moving stream, and there she was.

I love photography, and she made it so easy, posing as she was. All that was necessary was to rotate the photo one turn to bring her out.

I can see a very womanly shape, a head, and a lovely skull necklace.

Reflections fascinate me. The water was perfectly still near the banks, reflecting all the flora bursting from the moist soils along the edges.

I don’t know much about Greek mythology, but I can spot a water goddess when I see one!

I hope you enjoy her as much as I did discovering her.
