WARNING: It May Not Be a Cold
If you’re feeling like you have a head cold, take a COVID test just to be sure

I just found out I have COVID — again. It was last December when my husband and I both caught it for the 1st time and we were miserable. We had all the symptoms, aches, fever, sore throat, and a runny nose. It was awful.
Now here I am again, only this time it’s totally different. My husband has just gotten over what we thought was a head cold. He had the same symptoms a week or so ago that I’m having now, but wait…
A text from my daughter this morning informed us she had just taken a home test for COVID and surprise — it was positive. She had told us over the weekend that she has a cold, but with no sore throat, no fever, and no aches. A simple cold, right? Or, so we all thought. This is why I tested and got shocked by my COVID test result too.
I just had a telecom with my doctor and he said, “yes this is a new strain of COVID 19 and lots of people are coming down with it. It’s good that you tested. Many people aren’t so they’re walking around thinking it’s just a cold and exposing many others.”
He sent in two RX’s for me to start on which seems like overkill, but hey, he’s the doctor. The only difference this time is I’m super tired. I slept 9 hours last night which is unusual, and I’ve already napped for 2 hours this morning. Sheesh!
I promise I’ll read your stories later, okay? And please don’t send in any stories you want published to my pub, Boomers, Bitches, and Babes. My email is jacked up so I’m not getting notified about submissions, and Mediums notification don’t always reach me very quickly.
Peace — Out, people!
