Warm, Cozy, and Catnapping
September Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Shadows”
Sunning my buns, leaving shadows behind!
This little kitty, whom I met during our trip to Mizoram, acted like she owned the place. She’d walk regally around, sometimes baring her teeth, looking at us through narrowed eyes. She’d settle down right in the middle of the lobby, and couldn't be bothered who was inconvenienced. For our part, we just let her be, looking at her indulgently, and skirting around her.
She had her spot marked on the lawn outside and would go and sit there. It was December and quite cold. The warm afternoon sunshine was welcome for both humans and non-humans, especially after a sumptuous meal and teacup in hand.
It was also wonderful to walk around the area and see children playing by the roadside, teens hanging around, chatting, and moms and their friends making use of the sun, drying things. Nobody cared about the nip in the air.
