Try This…️

If you’re reading this, you likely want more (or different) of something:

  • More pep in your step
  • More peace and tranquility

More _______freedom:

  • Time
  • Money
  • Choice

More YOU!?

You’re in the right place.

Same, and I’ve found three immediate benefits:

  • Grow as a writer
  • Expand the conversation on mental and emotional well-being
  • Create community

While progress is being made (ish) in the writing department, one goal is to provide as much value as possible to you about grief, grief recovery, and the life-altering benefits of uncovering and completing unresolved grief.

A few Things About Grief:

Did you know there are more than 40 causes of grief?

That’s right!

Grief is not limited to death and divorce. 🤯

To name a few, we’ve got:

  • Moving
  • Pet loss
  • Retirement
  • Pregnancy loss
  • Loss of Fertility
  • Loss of Faith
  • Loss of Trust
  • End of an Addiction (Yes, this one)

Grief, specifically unresolved grief, is a sneaky fellow.

It affects everything about cognition — how we think, feel, and operate and influences how we handle stress, relate to others, make choices, and complete tasks.

‘Are you sick and tired of feeling sick and tired?’

Take this as your sign that it’s time — to prioritize your mental & emotional wellbeing.

I can’t say this enough.

Despite the societal stigma, good mental and emotional health is as crucial to your overall well-being, as good physical health.

Grief affects everything, and unresolved grief keeps you from being who you’re meant to be.

Going through the Grief Recovery Method®️ with a GRM specialist, someone who has done it themselves can begin to transform your life within weeks.

Of course, you must do the work as the ROI directly relates to your commitment and willingness to be honest with yourself.

Everyone experiences loss.

Ev-er-y-one of us will lose something that will cause pain.

The pain of loss, if not appropriately addressed, will compound over time leaving you susceptible to years of built-up unresolved grief.

From personal experience, this is NOT a recommended way of life.

I spent the better part of 4 decades — That’s 40 Years! — collecting and compounding grief until I was at a breaking point.

A new bottom came when I experienced:

  • Emotional betrayal during trauma therapy
  • Tough depression
  • Company-wide layoffs/job loss (Fortunately, I already was a certified Grief Recovery Method® Specialist — thank you, side-hustle culture).
  • And then…turned 50 (IYKYK)

All packaged tightly inside 8 months…

When I made time to uncover and properly address unexpressed emotions I found sustained relief from stress and anxiety and finally freed from an outdated belief system.

Prioritizing grief recovery is not just a luxury — It’s a necessity if you want to achieve freedom.

Do you want to exist, or do you want to thrive?

You CAN unlock our potential and experience a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I have done it, and while the process can feel dubious, it is worth your weight in gold to get to the other side of grief.

If you want to improve your ability to cope with stress, make better decisions, and maintain healthy relationships…

One actionable answer is to educate yourself about grief and grief recovery.

Are you into physical fitness or general physical wellness?

Guess what?

Your whole nervous system — muscle function, energy levels, cognition needed for basic task completion, and sleep patterns are — you got it — at the mercy of whatever lives in your inner reservoir of pain.

Seeing the signs and symptoms of poor mental & emotional health is critical for potential grief recovery.

These can vary from person to person.

Common indicators include:

  • Persistent sadness or anxiety
  • Sudden shifts in behavior and/or mood
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Withdrawal from social activities
  • Unexplained physical ailments

If you notice any of these signs, months or years after a significant loss, seeking support and taking steps toward mental and emotional well-being is crucial.

I have done the work and know you can do it, too!

Little did I know that one day I would be right back where it all started – (my first workshop was with Russell Friedman in 1998) – and teaching the program that helped me regain my sense of true self and purpose.

My purpose is being a lantern on your path of healing and enlightenment.
