Wangle Your Way
May/June Writers’ Prompt #11

Bringing words back into play.
In a Facebook writers’ group today, someone posted a multiple choice question, to see who knew which word correctly filled in the blank. So while the general population was sussing out which was which, I naturally was thrilled to correctly answer “wangle,” as I have not seen that word used in a very long time. Maybe my most exciting moment of the day.
I’m okay with that.
This writers’ prompt is designed to challenge you to resurrect some old words that you just haven’t seen used since you can’t remember when, and using them, write a funny piece — story, poem or cartoon/artwork — all fair game.
Have fun.
This writer’s prompt is in service to this writers’ contest.
And to give Marilyn Flower yet another opportunity to have some writing fun!
