A poem — Part III

I opened up the door monsters, dragons, fairies galore a prince fighting for his princess with a shield and a sword a dragon inhaled and took flight I was riding him like a bike into, then above the clouds the sun lifted his chin to watch proud we took a steep dive into the oceans hive where I then used my wand in the deep below beyond my feet became zippered turned my feet into flippers then sang, don’t worry, be happy the sharks were my best tippers as I no longer craved to be flappy, I jumped out onto a road of laughy taffy got stuck in a mountain waved — colorful iced fountains of coffee that didn’t wake me sleepy, I closed the door felt a jump scare from a ROAR the world fell to the floor the cover opened once more and the place where I left off turned out to bee a queen with her stinger as a sword no shield, for her army fights the wars, this is how she soared, in the pages of a book, leading that’s how it — shook.
