Walking Through Raindrops

Raindrops dripping off my nose.

Story inspired by Laura Jevtich’s interpretation of my story Walk Timing as “Walking Through Raindrops”.

Think about raindrops, Their interactions create puddles and lakes streams and rivers fill dams and oceans, Raindrops interact with light creating rainbows and sparkling wetted leaves, Raindrops wet clothes and fill my boots but most importantly raindrops nourish life including us.

Earth’s ecosystems interact, According to Theory of Gaia all of Earth’s organisms and inorganic surroundings are integrated into single self-regulating system that maintains conditions for sustaining life on Earth.

Everything connected everything interacts, Water cycle exemplifies interactive connectedness, Continuous movement water on above and below Earth’s surface, From ocean and lake to beautiful clouds raindrops falling replenishing and creating rivers that flow to oceans once again.

Heating Up — The Downside.

Global warming heats oceans increases evaporation Increases rain causes flooding or Increases snow in colder climes, Increasing heat exacerbates weather extremes cyclones and hurricanes.

Don’t understand and can’t predict interactions with any great certainty, Water cycle appears changing and perhaps adapting as warming nears tipping points, Unlikely to return previous conditions.

Have to adapt, Have to change, Have to cope with climate change.
