WRITING AND LIVING PROMPT
Walking in Rhyme
Chase away those blues

No more talking swallow that sadness, when I start walking I forget this madness Feel that rhythm one, two, three shoulders easing, arms swinging free
In summer twilight I’m light as air stepping quietly without a care
In winter cold under layers of snow I still feel hope continue to grow
The constant buzz within my head, evaporates with each new tread
Away from the noise words break free, focus and clarity come to me
I walk each day, chase away those blues add a dog or two- behold, my muse
