Poetry Releasing the Gray
The heron may have been a decoy, stoic, mysterious for what was true would always be true even if it took a long trail to re-emerge.
I climbed this hill before and I knew the strength it took but sometimes just feet on the floor after a count to ten is all it takes again.
So bring on the health green and alive bring on the wise a grand spreading of wings no more stagnant water no more waiting for the start that never ended.
Grab the ropes the boat the car racks grab the lake by its fading afternoon.
