Wait For It
Prince Charming Is on His Way
I’m not actually talking about a good man, wealthy or otherwise. I’m talking about what you want. I’m talking about dreams. It doesn’t matter whether what you want is a new relationship with somebody or a new piano. The technique works with pretty much anything.
There is this thing called the Law of Manifestation. I’ve run into it more than once in my gassing around about things metaphysical and spiritual. I first heard about it many years ago through a cassette course from the library I took by Tony Robbins, then through a book called Creating Money by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer. Those two folks were also the ones who had a gigantic hand in teaching me to channel with their book Opening to Channel. Their guides are Orin and Daben. Here is their home on the internet. I can’t recommend their books and programs more. They’ve since passed on, but the staff is continuing the work, and the books are available.
The next place I heard about the Law of Manifestation was from a famous channel Esther Hicks. Her husband Jerry, before his death, was also part of the team. They channeled Abraham. There are lots of books and tons of YouTube presentations. You can catch them here on YouTube.
Many other people out there talk about the Law of Manifestation, so I suppose if you were to Google it and then let your finger do the walking like we used to say about the Yellow Pages (telephone books), you’d be stepping right in there with the correct technique. It’s actually called bibliomancy and is a tool of divination. You open a bible and point, and that’s what you’re supposed to read to get a message from Spirit. I use it all the time. Relax, point, and click.
Basically, the idea to attract that which you desire, is that you think about it a lot. You open your mind to Spirit, or your own inner self, and relax. You think that you are deserving. Everything is very positive. No beating up on yourself about how you’re a loser and will never amount to anything. No. It’s all positive. You think about how whatever you want will come to you effortlessly.
It’s all energy. Supposedly, as you are in this positive frame of mind, you, too, are being as positive as you can be.
What is magical about this technique is that suddenly, you are presented with the wherewithal to achieve your dreams. If it is a companion, then you become more loving towards yourself. Nobody in this lifetime is supposed to make you happy. You do that on your own. The same thing applies to love. In order to love and be loved by somebody else, you need to love yourself first.
Sounds easy, right? It’s not easy.
You’ve got to work on yourself. What is it you are supposed to work on? I don’t know. It could be anything. It might be that you start seeing commercials about clean and white teeth everywhere you look. Pay attention. This is the magic happening. These commercials you can’t seem to get away from. Look at your smile closely in the bathroom mirror. Maybe it’s time to make an appointment at the dentist and start flossing and brushing your teeth more often.
Maybe you’ve got some annoying habits. You might suddenly be aware of all the food that seems to fall out of your mouth while you are eating. Could that be why your mother used to tell you, “Close your mouth while you are eating!”
Do you suddenly realize you monopolize conversations? Magic, huh? No, it’s because you’re picturing yourself as you would be with a first impression you make with people you don’t know.
Try to get to know yourself a little better, try to get a glimpse of yourself through other people’s eyes, and you might tweak your own behavior a little bit, just enough to capture somebody else’s attention for the time it takes for them to decide they’d like to spend a little more time with you.
So, there is that.
Try to develop a pioneering spirit. You need to feel like you will do anything it takes to get the job done, no matter what that job is. If you find yourself knocked down, dust yourself off, get back up again, and keep working at it.
Maybe you are trying to get an education to get a good job. The idea is that if you want to be an engineer, you need to pass specific courses. So, if you flunk something, you take the course again. So what if it’s going to take an extra semester? My husband used to figure that when he’d take an important exam and he flunked it, he would study more and just take the exam again. It’s how he got to be a loan broker and later a stockbroker. Nothing dissuaded him.
In fact, his first German teacher in college told him he should stop trying to learn German. He said to Dennis, “You do not have the aptitude to learn a foreign language. You should join the army.” So Dennis flunked his first college German class. The summer after that first year of college, he moved to Germany and lived there for three months making boxes in the Löwenbräu box factory. After the summer was over, Dennis returned Stateside to take, by examination, three German classes. They later drafted him into the army, he learned Romanian and served as a Romanian-German-English translator in Nurenberg and Munich. After we were married, we returned Stateside, where he earned his master’s degree in German. The professor who had originally told him years before that he had no aptitude for learning a language served as his advisor while he got his master’s degree. They were friends, too. But that brief story illustrates the long haul, the dedication, against all odds that a person can go to finally achieve a dream.
So, you have a dream, you work hard at it. Somehow, the universe is there to feed up all these interesting opportunities to further your dream. You pay attention, and eventually, you achieve the dream. Sometimes it is a quick fix. Sometimes it is a longer fix, like with my husband.
I like this saying, “When one door closes, another one swings open.” Keep your eyes open for opportunities to further your dreams.
I wanted a piano. I just really wanted one. I didn’t and still don’t know how to play, but for some reason, I had to have a piano. We didn’t have any money. We were living hand to mouth (still are), and there was no extra money for a piano. I found a picture of the exact one I wanted. I wanted a Roland electronic piano. I heard somewhere that Paul McCartney played on one. That’s the one I wanted. I kept my attention on the picture. I’d look at it several times during the course of any day. That’s the one I wanted.
Time went by, and I began saving. Just a little, because we just couldn’t afford it. $10 here, $5 there. I had a bit saved by, and one day my husband was driving in downtown Oakland. There was a Sherman-Clay store with a piano sale going on. He went in there and bought me the Roland piano I wanted. It was second-hand and one that had been used to teach students how to play. A payment plan was agreed upon, and I had my piano. I think that took six to eight months from start to finish.
Even though I never did learn to play it properly, I played it. This was during the time when I was trying to learn how to channel, and I needed an outlet, an opportunity to release anguish, start some emotional healing, and begin channeling Spirit. I had no idea that’s why I needed that piano, but in the end, that’s exactly why I needed it. I’d play it, and this outpouring of emotion buckled my knees. Dennis said he enjoyed hearing me play it. He said it was just like somebody was playing the piano. I never knew what it was that I played. It was what I felt in my soul, and it just poured forth.
In fact, I’m currently looking for another piano. Again, we probably don’t have the money for it, but I figure a 61-key semi-weighted keyboard would do the trick. I could temporarily move my computer keyboard, which is cordless, and pop the piano keyboard right into the same space. It’s the right height and handy enough for me to just let it go. The writing afterward, for me, is so much easier. Just let Spirit flow.
Those two things that happened in my life are the proof I need that the Law of Manifestation works.
Thanks for reading. I hope this might have encouraged you to go for something you’ve always wanted and didn’t think you could ever get. If I can do it, so can you.
