Volkswagen Actually Made a Desk Chair You Can Drive Around

Every other desk chair in existence is about to look like garbage.

In a recent post, I spoke about McDonald’s new gaming chair, which did not impress my readers and me at all. Unlike that, Volkswagen’s newest creation is actually insanely impressive.

Have you ever sat at your desk and wished you could drive your desk chair to the nearest convenience store without having to get up? Yeah, neither have I. But now you can work with the official Volkswagen desk chair.

It’s honestly insane that Volkswagen actually went through the effort to create a desk chair that can be literally driven around.

But honestly, the most impressive part isn’t the fact that the chair can be driven. It’s all the additional features the chair has that other Volkswagen vehicles currently feature. This list is going to blow your mind.

A Trunk

Yes, the Volkswagen desk chair features a trunk that can be used to store miscellaneous items. Its intended use is for documents. Although with its small size on the back of the chair, it’s more comparable to a glove box.

A Trailer Hitch

I can't imagine the towing capacity of this chair is that high, but if you require additional storage on your desk chair, you can hook up a trailer to the back for additional cargo space.

A Horn

I don’t know in what circumstance I would need a horn on my desk chair, but I guess it can come in handy if I'm stuck behind a slow walker on the sidewalk.

A Seat Warmer

You know Volkswagen has got you covered when they put seat warmers in a desk chair. In the rare circumstance, you need to drive your chair to a convenience store in the middle of winter, rest assured your behind will be warm.

LED Lights

I'm not even going to make fun of this since it’s actually a really good safety feature. If you do decide to drive your desk chair in the middle of the night, you can rest easy knowing anyone close by will be able to see you.

Parking Features

You can only assume that once you get your hands on a drivable desk chair, you’ll run into some issues with parking and visibility. Well, this desk chair has not only reverse parking sensors, but also a backup camera with a display on the armrest.

An Entertainment System

You can imagine that driving your desk chair down the road, it may get a little boring, especially while waiting at a traffic light.

That’s why this desk chair includes an entertainment system with built-in HiFi speakers.

Funny enough, I would probably use this to mimic the sound of a sports car just to mess with people.

A Seat Belt

Volkswagen has always been a supporter of safety in its vehicles. Apparently, even on a desk chair which I can’t imagine can surpass five mph.

Yeah, I don’t think any other company can beat Volkswagen in the desk chair business. Considering how far in the dust the Mcdonald's gaming chair is left now, I doubt other manufacturers will even try to top Volkswagen's creation.

I’m not entirely sure if Volkswagen actually intends to make this an actual product for consumers, but if they did, I can’t imagine it would be affordable.

You would probably be able to get a decent second-hand car for the same price as this absolute beast of a desk chair.

Honestly, though, I still want one.
