Voiceless
Rejection hurts like hell*
Invisible to you, my love. Unrecognizable to you, my love. Intolerable is my presence to you. Unfathomable is this reality to me.
True, I’ve nothing to offer. Age took away my looks. An accident took away my glamour. Life has left me with nothing.
Why would you pay attention to me? I understand and accept. Why would you still be interested in me? I see your options and approve.
Go ahead with the newest version. Move on with the hottest model. Enjoy the upgraded features. Forget about me at this very moment.
Would I care and shed tears? Yes, of course. Would I miss and pine for you? I’m not sure. You see. I’m already dead to you.
The new attraction might hold your interest longer. The newness of the change might make you happy. Promise me that you’ll be more faithful this time. Promise me that you’ll be more careful this time.
When will you realize that discarding items randomly hurts feelings? When will you recognize that replacing things quickly impairs relationships? When will you reform the tactics that would refine your impulsive decisions? When will you rework the expectations that would save you from disasters?
Take a deep breath and divert your attention to do some creative work. Indulge in new hobbies that don’t require you to be mindlessly engaged. Invest in yourself before committing to other distractions. Make sure that my replacement has long-lasting durability.
