Visualization
What is visualization?
God has given us a remarkable ability to think in pictures. The process of forming mental images is called visualization. We all have dreams, things we want, places to visit, etc. All these are future events, but feeling and experiencing them as real brings us closer to achieving them. By doing this, we train our senses about the sensations we will be experiencing now.

Thus, visualization forms a big part of goal achievement. It bridges the gap between what is wanted and what is now, just like affirmations. Remember to visualize in a positive environment with lots of fun, happiness, and cheerfulness. Your subconscious mind gets activated, then. It then brings incidents and thoughts into your life that take you towards your goal of having high energy.
“Make sure you visualize what you want, not what someone else wants for you.”
Jerry Gillies
How do I practice? How can we make visualization more effective?

Prepare a goal card with your goal written on it. You can use the one made for affirmations. This goal should have a date by which you plan to achieve it. Look at this, read it aloud, and visualize it three times daily. As you read, imagine how others will react and how you will feel, and then stay with that feeling throughout the day. Visualize how you will feel when you have lots of energy. Visualize what you will do with all the energy in you. It is time to start setting concrete goals in finances, relationships, and contributions. Do this consistently, and you will realize that your desires have an element of certainty. You know you will feel better and better. You are attracted to activities and humans that will help you achieve your goals.

Isn’t this simple? Try it and let me know.
Where
Do this process in a fun-filled environment with lots of cheerfulness. The introduction of funny elements will take the stress away. Removing stress is essential. Stress can be a fun spoiler. It affects the immune system. It causes inflammation in the body. Both scenarios can lead to disease (lowering of energy). Bad memories can play havoc, too. Just change your perception of the past event. Look for what you learned and relive the memory with the altered perception. Living with the new modified perception will heal the subconscious mind, and when the subconscious mind heals, it relaxes the nervous system.
“If you do what you love, it is the best way to relax.”
Christian Louboutin

A relaxed state of mind is where we want to be, if not always, most of the time. Be kind to yourself. Use your imagination and visualization mindfully. The visual mapping part of the brain is more significant than the other areas. Mindfulness is how we pay attention to ourselves and how we love ourselves. We carry ourselves in our minds and all over our bodies; both mind and body are resilient and heal themselves. Use visualization to the fullest. The bottom line is to close your eyes, sit still, and visualize what you want and the emotions you will experience.
Why does visualization work?
Because it functions by preparing your body and mind for the outcomes you desire, similar to exercise, the more you perform it, the more powerful it gets. Thus, you can accomplish your objectives and fulfill your ambitions through visualization.
The Science of Visualization
How does visualization influence the brain?
Visualization stimulates the same neural pathways as genuine experiences in the brain. When you picture something, for example, your brain interprets it the same way it would if you were experiencing it. Dopamine is one of the neurotransmitters released in this process, and it can lift your spirits and increase motivation. Visualization improves cognitive functions like memory, focus, and attention span while lowering stress and anxiety levels.
When we picture something, our brains respond to it as though it were happening. The subconscious mind believes and responds as though it were happening now. For the best results, practice a flawless performance in the future by involving as many senses as you can, or picture and repeat a successful incident from the past.
Thus, besides having a mind-body connection, visualization links mental imagery to physical reality.

The scientific study of the mind and behavior is known as psychology. Psychologists work hard to investigate and comprehend behavior, the brain, and mental processes. Thus, psychologically, visualization is powerful because when you focus your thoughts and picture your desires on a particular desired mental image or an actual photograph, you feel you have fulfilled your desires.
Example
Jim Carrey was certain that he wanted to get wealthy by becoming an actor. He started to picture himself as a successful director or producer, with people approaching him and expressing their admiration for his work. Thus, Jim Carrey acquired $10 million and international fame.
