Visiting The Most Beautiful Place You’ll Ever See

I can’t wait to see it in its full glory

When you ask me, “what’s the most beautiful place in the world?”, I’d say it’s Switzerland. Without a shadow of a doubt.

I’ve only been there once. But that’s going to change.

After visiting the city of Zürich in 2019 with my girlfriend I was determined that I would return to the country of cheese, clear drink water, and beautiful nature.

If you’ve never visited an alps country before, this article is here to convince you to travel to one in 2022.

Swiss Nature Is Heaven On Earth

I’m not exaggerating when I’m saying that Switzerland and her nature are heavens on earth. It’s ridiculous how beautiful it is.

Just take a look at this picture.

This is the town called Interlaken, it’s a town between lakes and that’s surrounded by mountains.

It’s the gateway to typical Swiss villages like Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen.

My sister and I will visit Lauterbrunnen and perhaps Grindelwald if we’ve got the time for that, we’ll do that by train. That’s the cheapest solution for us, we don’t have a car.

You can take a train from Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen and it will cost you around 15 CHF, which is around $15 as well. This is a return ticket.

The Best Public Transport In The World

Remember this, it’s amazing. Switzerland has got one of the best public transport services in the world, although it’s a little expensive.

Trains, buses, trams, and even boats are always on time and in Zürich, you can even use the same ticket for all of them.

That’s so convenient.

Traveling across the country can get a little expensive. If you’re like us and want to travel across the entire country, it might be cheaper to buy an Interrail/Eurail pass for unlimited travel in Europe for a couple of days.

In comparison, traveling from Interlaken to Lugano costs you 52 CHF for a single ticket. That’s only one trip.

These passes allow you to travel endlessly for a week for only around $250.

That’s allowing us to do a trip around Southern Germany, entire Switzerland, and through Austria.

The Best Hiking Country

Do you recognize the situation that you want to go for a walk or a hike in the mountains of any country and you’ve got to travel hours before even getting there? Me too.

In Switzerland, this isn’t needed.

There are so many train stations or bus stops in or near the mountains. One of them is contained by the Bernina Train Line — you can stop at one of the highest train stops in the world.

You step out of the train and you see lakes and mountains, you can start walking through snow in winter and dive into the lake in the summer.
