The true story Cleveland Abduction is about the crimes of Ariel Castro and how he abducted his 3 victims and held them

Michelle Knight, his first victim, was abducted on her way to court to seek custody of her son on August 23, 2002.

He offered her a ride, and she accepted since he was the father of someone she knew. However, he drove in the incorrect way, claiming to have a dog for her son at his place. She entered his home and proceeded to the location where he claimed the pups were.

That’s when she knew she was in trouble. She was only 21 years old when she was kidnapped

Amanda Berry vanished on April 21, the day before she turned seventeen. On her way back to her house, she was kidnapped. Gina Dejesus, one of Castro’s daughter’s friends, vanished on her way home from school when she was just 14 years old.

Castro was condemned to life in prison plus 1,000 years. He spent a little more than a month in prison, under far nicer conditions than the ones he put his victims through.

On September 3, 2013, he committed suicide in his jail cell by hanging himself with his bedsheets.
