Vegetable Fried Brown Rice
Brown Rice recognized is high in fiber and low in cholesterol and is considered a low “glycemic index” food… I have been trying to include brown rice in our daily diet. I find that brown fried rice is nicer than basmati rice, and it’s healthy too 🙂
INGREDIENTS
Brown Rice — 1/2 Cup
Butter — 1 Slice
Shallots — 2
Black Pepper powder — 1 pinch
French Beans — 2
Carrot — 1/2
Spinach leaves — 3
Light Soya Sauce — 1 tableSpoon

PREPARATION
Cook brown rice separately. Cooking brown rice is a bit tricky. The ratio is 2 cup water for 1 cup of rice. Turn the flame into low-medium once the water and rice reached into the boiling point, and it will take about another 30 minutes to cook the rice until the water drained entirely and slowly fluff it with a fork. Don’t worry; it may not get it right for the first time. Don’t give up :)
Meanwhile, dice shallots, beans, carrots, and spinach. I would purposely add more spinach as its healthy to have green in the food. And I would always tell her She would be tall as appa (daddy) if she eats more, that’s the catch :) I still use that statement on every food when she is picky; how else we will convince kids. I know it would only work for another 1 or 2 years :)

Take a pan, melt butter

Add diced Shallots together with a pinch of pepper powder, saute for few minutes. After that, add chopped beans and carrots and saute it.
Wait, don’t add spinach now as it cooks pretty fast and it would kill the nutrition

once the mixture cooked enough, meaning when the raw taste is gone, add spinach

Saute for 1 or 2 minutes, then add cooked rice and mix them well

Afterward, add light soya sauce, and mix them well, serve hot, no no, serve warm :)
Adjust soya sauce to individual’s taste,

PS: when cooking vegetables, you could add diced chicken or scrambled eggs .. I do that at times
