Selling My Passion
It’s only just begun

I’ve read quite a lot, recently, about Gumroad.
A website that suggests you can sell, literally, anything!
They are very definite about it, from courses to cookbooks and emoji packs to wallpapers.
Gumroad provides a platform to sell physical and digital wares; and they make it look quite easy.
Challenge accepted!
I have a passion for helping people. I don’t mean about crossing the road (although I would do that too), but in a way that helps them to improve their lives.
Learning efficiencies and ways to take the stress out of the day.
Almost 3 years ago I created a brand called Productivity Matters. It’s only me, using the brand to promote good working practice as well as other little tid-bits of information.
To back this up, I actually wrote (and published) a book. It’s available on Amazon. Whilst it has sold a few, it’s certainly not a best-seller!
However, I decided that maybe I could take the opportunity to use Gumroad to further promote this work.
I set to work updating and refreshing some of the content, and have now created a page on Gumroad through which I can sell it.
I will use Twitter to promote it, as that’s my main social media channel. What am I saying? It’s my only social media channel!
But, I thought, what about here?
Medium is a great place to share.
It may be a little unorthodox, but what’s the harm?
So, here is the link to my Productivity Playbook, on Gumroad.
To say thanks, I have setup a discount code for Medium readers, to get 20% off. Just enter MEDIUM20 at the checkout.
I know. A totally self-serving, selfish, post.
I will keep you updated as to how it goes.
In the meantime, big thanks to Victoria Kurichenko who has inspired me to write this and give it a shot.
Thank you for reading
