Urban Footfall

When Things Fall Into Place

Coincidence, fluke, call it what you may I was out for a walk in my city of refuge one fine day new mobile phone in hand I snapped objects of Architecture a favourite pastime I nurture

©SyWoBo 2020

Buildings like these remind me of one of my favourite eras, the German Bauhaus, with its slogan “Art into Industry” I love the squares, rectangles and the fine lines of geometric and functional design of these buildings and love the way their windows mirror

Graffiti galore, breathtaking in detail and talent Who drew them, I wonder, who can I compliment?

What a weird and wonderful piece of art 3D, divided into parts

Almost home I’ve captured Graffiti Galore — this one in detail overgrown — so much to explore

Back home I checked my photographic trophies and to my amazement discovered this moving photograph taken completely by accident:

I haven’t a clue how I created it, but somehow it mirrors the description the famous artist and Bauhaus art teacher, Paul Klee, so fittingly gave to his work (1925):

A(n) “active line on a walk, moving freely, without goal”

When I saw my moving photo I felt it fitted in so well with Trisha Traughber’s prompt, Footfall. Thank you, Trisha, for inspiring me to put this all together.
