Uprising
Imagine this — you walk

Pack up a picnic, a trail of unpavings. Queen of the garden, unfolds you arose. Turn on your heels, your tame little cravings. Rhyme round and around in the spokes of your prose. Inhale up to balance in mountain tree pose. Then trail your meander to follow upstream. A mossy surrender to nest in a dream.
Imagine that — you ramble a bit
Subtracting distractions to turn into none. Leaving it fading in rear mirror’s view. Gazing at clouds, in a spread just for one. Pie-in-the-sky time arising in you. As you fall into yourself and begin to come true. And ramble a bit down a garden path. Re-seeding your soles on a loamy hearth.
Imagine then— you take a leap
This twiggy affection of leafy befriending. Meandering down like streams of reminding. Bare-foot and trickling on rocky upending. Toe-dripping to wander, laces unbinding. Losing your heart in a marshy refinding. A resting spot on a beach-fronted crescent. Checkered past spread on a grassy present. Sewing oaty promise beside a wild lake. Edge of the world where the little waves break.

This silence, this stillness, this focus on quiet. Finds you tearing and gushing, an upstarting riot. Ground down to zero, no less than surprising. You plunge in the depths of your verdant uprising.
