“Unusual Money-Making Ideas Are Everywhere! — BUT, Should You Do Them?”
When you are an internet marketer, or an entrepreneur (or whatever the heck I am), you tend to notice the sometimes weird ways that people are making money.
I don’t stick a label on myself or what I do. I hate labels. I just think of myself as a normal bloke who doesn’t like other people telling him what to do, so would be absolutely unemployable these days. Therefore, I try to do what I enjoy doing and earn a crust from that
What I’ve found is that old Zig Ziglar was right. He said that if you can find a way to help other people get what THEY want, then earning a decent income will just happen naturally as a result of that.
What’s more, in my case I get a massive kick out of helping other people to improve their incomes and lifestyles. So, I don’t really think of what I do as ‘work’, because how can doing something you love doing be described as work?
So, the key is to find a way to help other people achieve something that is important to them and you will be well rewarded if you get good at doing that.
One absolutely key piece of advice I will give you though, is that you MUST be ethical in everything that you do. You MUST be able to look yourself in the mirror and know 100% that you are doing the right thing for your clients or customers.
That means that you avoid doing things ‘Just to make money’, even though it feels wrong. Don’t do that shit. Just don’t. Deliver great value to your customers instead. You’ll feel better for it, believe me.
Be true to yourself, be able to look yourself in the mirror and feel good about what you are doing for your customers/audience and the end result is that you’ll be helping people, as well as making a good living AND you’ll be able to sleep at night!
I’d much rather be wealthy by doing something that’s right. Something that offers real help and value to my audience, than by doing something that stinks, just to make a fast buck.
Like the title of this article says; ‘Unusual money-making ideas that YOU can do, are everywhere!
BUT, that doesn’t mean to say that you don’t need to be selective about what you choose to do.
Let me give you an example of a guy who, a few years ago, got VERY, VERY wealthy and who did it REALLY fast. You decide which side of the fence he falls on and whether you would be happy doing what he was doing to become rich.
I read about this bloke recently. Just the other day actually. Can’t remember where, but here’s the story…
This guy lived in New York and was making money out of the Ebola outbreak.
He had a diet supplement which he claimed helps to stop healthy cells breaking down and degenerating. This, he says, will help the immune system and therefore help protect you against contracting diseases, including Ebola.
He was charging just under $35 a bottle and called his product ‘Ebola-C’, (perhaps because it is mainly made up of vitamin C )?
This guy reportedly claimed that he was selling as many as 14,000 bottles a day at around $35 a bottle.
If you can’t be bothered to get your calculator out, I can tell you that that would equate to nudging very close to $500,000 a DAY. Half a million dollars A DAY!
That is around $15 million a month, or $180 million a year.
Effectively, it would have taken him about 3 days to become a dollar millionaire, after assumed production and advertising costs.
He’d be a billionaire before too long at all.
Now here is the burning question….
Can he happily look himself in the mirror at night?
Is he happy as a pig in shit and doesn’t give a stuff about the ethics of what he’s doing?
You decide.

It’s true. There are more money-making ideas that you could start doing than you could comfortably shake a very big stick at.
There are gazillions of ideas for you to choose from.
Like I just explained though, you just need to make sure that you are happy doing what you decide to go with. Choose a nice ethical way of helping people for example and you are golden.
What’s that you say? ‘But…Help them with what, Roy?’
You name it! There are magillions of people out there who need help with solving their particular problem. In fact looking for people with problems is a great way to pick a niche to enter.
Brainstorm a bit. Then brainstorm some more!
My roses keep shedding their petals.
My hens won’t lay eggs.
I have a husband who’s an alcoholic and I don’t know how to cope.
I want to move abroad but don’t know the pro’s and cons.
My father has dementia and I need advice about what will happen to him.
I want to earn some extra money to help pay the bills but I’m a Mum with young kids at home.
My house is about to be repossessed and I don’t know what I should do.
My rabbits won’t breed.
I’m shy and rubbish at chatting up girls.
I’m embarrassed about the size of my (insert body part here).
I need to start dating again, since I left my husband, but it’s been years since I’ve been on the dating scene and I’ve forgotten how!
I want to teach the world to sing…in perfect harmony!
I’m getting married in 3 weeks and I can’t fit into my wedding dress!….AND I’m a bloke!
Look, I could go on forever and more to the point, so could YOU. Like I said, just brainstorm some ideas. Look for people who need help or advice to solve a problem and there you have your audience.
NOW. Either…
1) Create your own information product that will help them and they’ll want to buy it from you.
Or…
2) Promote someone else’s information product as an affiliate.
See, it’s not really rocket science is it?
In my experience, what happens with most people is that they find it hard to choose a niche to work in.
Well, I have some news for you…SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE!
The answer is to tough it out, get your head down and do a bit of brainstorming. Then do a bit more, if needed.
Then what happens is they don’t know what to sell to their audience. The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind…Well, no…
… The answer is to do either 1) or 2) above.
Whatever you do though, have fun doing it.
Life’s too short not to, wouldn’t you say?
