Unleash Your Inner Strength: I’m Still Standing!

Empower Yourself and Conquer Life’s Challenges with Confidence and Resilience!

Yesterday, while watching “Sing” with my daughter, I was deeply moved by a scene where the character Johnny begins his solo with the words “I’m still standing.” It hit home, because many of us find ourselves still standing despite the uncontrollable challenges life throws our way.

Last June, I was involved in a car accident. After multiple doctor’s appointments, procedures, and finally being cleared to start physical therapy. Guess what, against all odds, I’m still standing.

Inspired by these three powerful words, I dedicate this poem to all of us who are Still Standing!

In life’s stormy sea, I stand tall,

Through every rise, I never fall.

With courage deep, I face the fight,

In darkest hours, I shine bright.

Though winds may howl, and tempests rage,

I’m still standing, strong, and brave.

For every trial, every test,

I rise again, I give my best.

With every scar, I wear with pride,

A symbol of the strength inside.

I’m still standing, come what may,

In every step, I find my way.

So let the challenges come my way,

I’ll dance through them, come what may.

For in the end, I’ll proudly see,

I’m still standing, wild, and free.
