Summary

The article reflects on the transient nature of relationships and the profound lessons learned from people who enter our lives, emphasizing the importance of embracing change and growth.

Abstract

The text is a contemplative piece that discusses the dynamic nature of friendships and relationships, acknowledging that while some people remain close, others may leave or evolve in ways that no longer resonate with us. It suggests that love transcends attachment and that true love allows others the freedom to come and go. The author shares a personal experience of letting go of old friends, despite their deep history, to make space for new connections that align with their current state of being. The narrative emphasizes the universe's role in bringing "the finest" people into one's life as teachers, regardless of whether they are categorized as friends or enemies. The article concludes with an encouragement to embrace all experiences and people, as they are instrumental in personal growth, teaching unconditional love, compassion, and leading to a state of oneness and awareness.

Opinions

  • People should not be held back by attachment but allowed to move freely in and out of our lives.
  • The evolution of life and personal growth are inevitable and not within human control.
  • Life's lessons are conveyed through people and circumstances, without seeking our approval.
  • Gratitude should be extended to all, even those who may have caused harm, as they serve as teachers in the journey of life.
  • Embracing life fully, rather than renouncing it, leads to a deeper understanding and connection with the universe.
  • The concept of love is distinct from attachment and should be unconditional and compassionate.
  • Surrendering to life's flow and dissolving the ego can lead to a state where love and compassion flourish without purpose.

People come and go, some remain close others pave the way for our growth

Don’t worry if friends decide to leave Don’t fret if you don’t feel connected

Recently I let go of my old friends At some point, they were my heartbeats

Friendship over ten years You know inside and outside of the other

I let go because we no longer resonated that does not mean love disappeared

Love is not the same as attachment I don’t hold them back because I need them

Love is free from any bondage Anyone can come and stay if they resonate with my silence

Give others the power to flee, and if they wish to come back while remaining happy the way life goes on

Universe has blessed me with the finest of its creation People gift wrapped in its infinite oneness

Unexpectedly colliding my way Taking my hand and flying me in the wholeness of spirit

As I see back on my life’s journey All I feel is gratitude for the people that blessed me

Good or bad is the way the mind creates stories Pushing me through the pain was life’s conspiracy

Life took a jump and flew high When I surrendered all my efforts

Ego dissolved with ‘His’ grace All that left is awareness and oneness

Love and compassion blooming on their own With no purpose to live, life gliding on his wings.

Universe bless you with people who can be your best teachers It does not matter whether you categorize them as your friends or enemies

Life forces you to move forward If the mind is not willing, it will drag you down

The evolution of life has to happen It is not in the grasp of any human

Life will teach you the lessons that it has to convey It will not seek your approvals or apprehensions

Be ready and embrace the people and circumstances They are here for a reason

Love everyone, be grateful even if the other is a con They are the teachers allotted by life that deemed fit for us

We learn to love unconditionally and be compassionate Gratitude and acceptance fill the empty space within

Open your mind and heart and let light penetrate it Let the oneness and love take the place of individual identity.
