Exploring secrets through time- Guest prompt Simão Cunha

This prompt by Simão Cunha got me thinking about if the time machine was invented, what would my purpose be in exploring time?

What would I want to set out to explore from the past and future? What would I be seeking to find or see for myself and others? What would be the best part about being an adventurer through time?

I’d like to go back and see first-hand the events and times throughout history we still struggle to understand. I’d like to venture back to all those mysterious moments long pondered about- that we spend lots of money and time in the present trying to work out.

I would like to explore the secretive side of the past, present and the future. The hidden, unspoken about things. I would like to uncover and unearth truths long forbidden and lost in time.

But then what would I do with that information?

Knowing so much would without a doubt cause pressure for a single person to carry. I would like to travel with like-minded souls though.

Travel through time with a soul tribe on a quest to delve into all sorts of mysteries.

I think in many ways this is what we are all already doing though.

It could be a mission of discovery, a great purposeful quest for answers and truths. We would be working to give voices to those who never had a voice. Searching for truths to back up the magical things people speculate about in the present. Re-writing old stories that honour people more respectfully and purposefully.

Setting free the souls of our ancestors, and broadening our knowledge and understanding of the world and universe as we know it.

The secrets of the past, present, and future intrigue me. The mysteries of the universe are tantalizing to think about.

I think I was born in many ways to become a truth seeker. Infinitely curious about things that remain unrevealed for so long. Even the smallest unknowns trigger a waterfall of questions and an abundance of curiosity within me.

In my dreams, I have had the pleasure of exploring faraway lands and unlocking inner secrets and knowledge. I have felt I have journeyed through time in some of my dreams.

I have experienced the slowing down and speeding up of time in life too. It’s quite trippy and strange.

Maybe the bigger universal mysteries are better off being left alone for now anyway. After all, I believe we must be ready to receive things before we are gifted with them.

And as a collective I think we are all being prepared to receive these mysteries and truths in time.

For now, I will just enjoy exploring time in my sleep and daydreams. Discovering the secrets locked away inside me, and witnessing the signs and synchronicities that deliver mystical magic to me every day.
