Unity Creating Harmony

Thrive and Survive

I woke up this morning with these words ringing in my ear and occupying my mind: Unity and Harmony

There are many ways unity within ourselves and our surroundings bring harmony into our lives. When I think of unity, I think of all the things that unite within us and around us allowing us to be alive. Being here as a human being is a miracle within itself. There are so many things in the world that have to function the way they are for our body to function, and we can exist.

If you think of all the cells within our body and our organs, how everything moves around creating nutrition from food for our cells to function, and in return, we can wake up every morning and go about our lives. We would not exist without our millions and billions of cells in the circle of life that is within us between every cell in our body.

We simply can not exist without the circle of life outside of us: the air that we breathe, and the food that we eat.

There are so many things in our world that have to work just exactly right to create the balance of a united front for us to be here. The breath in the air that the plants in the trees create for their exchange of carbon dioxide into oxygen. We breathe out of the carbon dioxide that the plants and the trees need to survive.

If you close your eyes and imagine that the air that you’re slowly breathing in is the air that the plants around you slowly exhale out. The plants are releasing the oxygen we need. We are bringing in the oxygen and letting out the carbon dioxide that they need. It is a beautiful cycle, that is harmonious and fulfills the survival of both humanity and the plants and the trees around us.

We need to keep this harmony going and support the plants in the trees around us so we can keep breathing in the oxygen that they are releasing.

Harmony and unity are working together creating their beautiful cycle. When we decide to unite and work together for a common cause to keep humanity alive and well, to live a healthy and joyful life harmony follows. It is like playing a beautiful melody that comes together in a circle. We can keep replaying the same music and creating more and more beautiful music. If the cycle is disturbed the cycle can break. People die, trees die, cells die.

We all need each other to be united. Every cell in our body fights for their survival and help us survive.

Can we be like our cells? Can we be like the trees? Can we be still? Can we accept ourselves and each other? Can we step up and support humanity?

To unite and live in harmony, those are some of the questions that pop into my mind.

I am grateful today for the cells within my body that let me wake up this morning. I am grateful today for all the trees and plants that provide oxygen allowing me to live.

I am grateful today for all my family and friends and all the people around the world and beyond.

I am grateful today that I am here.

I am grateful today for the unity and harmony that surrounds us in our lives allowing peace, love, joy, and happiness.

I am grateful today for you.
