Unforeseen Tides
“Your hesitant silhouette reflects on the crisp blue water…”
your hesitant silhouette
reflects on the crisp blue water; an infinite sea of possibilities lies before you
a fortuitous pebble strides,
a hermit crab finds a new shell;
an unforeseen tide:
one ripple two ripples three ripples
so on,
and so forth
the crisp blue is now but a hazy sea of uncertainty
your silhouette is reborn:
its reflection
transforms,
goes with the flow
of a wise current,
of the unforeseen tide
for it’s one with the sage waves;
aligned with the sea of change;
there’s nothing to hesitate:
new beginnings await.
