Unexpected Beginnings

A Poem

Fogless lake drifting above my head, Time slowly flows, Tulip petals blow, Dancing with the wind.

A delicate melody ringing in my ear, Is it the angels I imagine or the birds I see?

A soft blanket of greenery under my feet, leading me to my peace, Enjoying tranquility under the swaying tree, I glimpse at the coming spring Sweet and fresh just like honeydew.

The sun rays gliding across my skin As if a warm hug trying to seep in. The voice of the river drifting echoes from the distance, swish. swish. swish… Waves splash against the banks.

God keeps his eyes on me, Blessing me with his serenity. Oh, father, this is a gift sent from heaven, which has fallen into my grasp.

Oh, heavenly father! Am I ever glad to be alive today, This petite radiant star brings out the child buried deep within me. Young once again, I am in L.O.V.E. once again…
