Under The Sun
Poetry of Pain
(Poem: Version 2)
* It must have been Easy for you, Smiling warmly Sailing through.
There is always somewhere else your glowing soul can be.
A special place no one is seeing, Simply forget about the living.
It must be useful being undefeated you.
Never watching us back there, Never a second thought and yet
You once convinced the sea and sky that they were endless blue.
I wish time would lose your face and this memory would erase
But all I feel is heaviness in the hours undone.
As you disappeared into your shell, No kindness on the road to hell.
Yet we had everything that works, Under the sun.
And now faith has deserted me, There is no hope I only grieve
The spirit of a traveller with no fire to be won.
Still, I wish you well for always, Ageing slow before the darkness
Karma stamps across the heartless, Under the sun.
