Under The Canopy of Stars
a book in which you will board a train

“Who knows where do words reside before they spring forth into the world of hell.” — Nachi
Since the past few days, I have been running away from myself or you can say my words. That’s when I start looking for stories, a book which will calm my nerves, a dream where I can be lost for some time.
Nachi’s book Under The Canopy of Stars was on my reading list. I had promised myself that I would read the book once life is normal.
I don’t see that happening soon so on a day when I was too sad with too many things, I picked this book to read. I knew I could stop anytime words will understand if I cant follow the colours.
That didn’t happen, I read and finished the book in a few hours. This doesn’t happen every time. I stay away from fiction because I know I can’t be in one place but this book is different.
Reading this book is like boarding a train which will pause only when you finish the book. I wandered in the known cities and unknown alleys with the characters of the book, the inquisitiveness was there about what is going to happen next. The narrative is poetic which hooks the reader, when you read you can make out this author is a poet.
If books are dream once visualised by the author, this book is the same.
After all, words are dreams which we paint with colours and later exhibit on the page. Swapna is my favourite character in the book. I am waiting for another story which takes me away from my own words. This is not a book review just some words about how a book helped me cope with anxiety.
This is an unusual love story which will keep you entertained.

Dreams are nothing but hazy permutations and combinations of images and sounds borrowed from real life, the life the mind wishes for itself. — Nachi Keta
