Under Pressure

What can you do when life is pushing you hard? Welcome to my nuggets

All in our society tend to produce stress. Not the sane stress reactions you need to have when facing a dangerous situation. No. You are pushed to live with stress incorporated in your everyday life, until you explode. You get ill. You lack clarity in what you’re doing. You feel overwhelmed.

Even pleasant choices repeated with narrow time lapses due to programmed performances can generate anxiety.

Fed up enough of this system? Let’s have a look at what kind of solutions you may find to counteract.

Set your own path, or “do it your way”

In the midst of all the pressure of the world, our uniqueness is what will give an adjunt value to whatever situation. Do not forget it.

The solutions you try and discover by yourself are almost always the best.

There are plenty of books and teachers out there. All have the good intention to be helping you, including myself.

But you are the one that knows yourself better. Take responsibility of your life, and let it be a piece of art…under pressure.

Keep a time and a space only for yourself

I know it’s hard for some of us. But you’ll find it even more difficult to survive if your ego won’t develop the habit of celebrating itself a little bit each day.

I’m talking to all the mothers and fathers overburdened by family and work assignments.

Go and get your 5 to 10 minutes free of anything. Also 15 minutes could be fine.

Close the door, put off the phone, dismiss the laundry, and do something for yourself.

I mean, you shouldn’t even feel guilty if it’s one hour out of twenty-four!

Don’t forget what you like

I’m surely not an edonist, but I implore you to do the things you like.

Also, it becomes easier to bear a certain bargain you may not be able to avoid, if you can access to a positive compensation.

Find out what is yours, and in case it is chocolate, please don’t exceed the recommended daily quantities. You wouldn’t appreciate adding a new problem to another one you already have!

Remember who you are

You are not just what you make. You are a lot more than your repeated actions.

Of course, actions are important. You need to stay and live in this reality, and your outer actions reflect your being here.

Still, your being is so much more than those simple actions.

How can you know it?

Go and look for the source of your being.

When you connect to the ultimate reality of your being you can be sure to get access to an unlimited stream of consciuosness. That consciousness is your personal recharger.

While life is going on, it’s easy to forget what your real Self is. That’s why you need to remember it constantly. Look inside of you. Discover your potentiality. Look for the connection to the root of your being, and you’ll become invincible.

As usual, I suggest meditation as a daily practice to reach such an aim.
