Uncertain Confusion

Seeing truths in daily life People struggle in confusion Not quite sure what is safe, All are just trying to survive In ways only known to them.
Compassion for people seen With stricken fear in their eyes Grimaces stretching across faces, Uncertainty in what tomorrow brings Feeling wistful differences in today.
Homeless camped across the street Covered corpses in eclectic blankets Wondering when next meal will come, Uncertainty is their way of life Nothing different for them today.
Continuing life at my own pace In happiness I have always felt, Precautions taken, moving on, Spirit reaching towards the sky.
