Congressional UFO Hearings are in Our Future

The Congressional Hearings to Come

When it comes to UAP/UFO reality, the Congress seems on an eventual path to multiple committee hearings in both the Senate and the House, under the guise of national security, the issue that’s unlocked support in high places.

Military pilots and radar operators will play a key role in these early ones. Scores more witnesses to sightings will come in. This stage of testimony will be focused on threat. Why do these objects buzz our Carrier Strike Forces, shut off our nuclear weapons, and show such an interest in our military capabilities?

These hearings, once they exhaust the possibility of US, Russian or Chinese technology, will then have to pivot to the obvious question. If these unidentified objects are not ours, then whose are they?

More questions then. What do they want with us? Are we safe? Do some of them actually live here on Earth?

The hearings will then expand. Fast. The public will be demanding answers.

They’ll add their own impertinent questions. Are these stories of alien abduction true? How widespread is it? Why are there so many different types ranging from classic saucers to Tic Tacs to giant triangles? What in the world is going on here?

We are, realistically, as little as a year from this kind of open debate and not much more than three under any scenario. This is on.

Sooner or later, these congressional hearings are going to get real teeth. Committee chairs will want subpoena power to bring in witnesses. And they’ll demand the power to grant immunity, as needed, to get to the larger truths.

Some of this will be conducted behind closed doors in classified meetings. Some of it will be for show, and what a show it will be.

By way of further example, we’ll use another taste of fiction. This one makes use of the mysterious and disputed Majestic-12 organization, but it’s only for purposes of illustration. If not MJ-12, it will be something else, but it will sound something like this.

LOCATION: 253 RUSSELL SENATE OFFICE BUILDING, WASHINGTON, D.C. TIME: 9:00 A.M. EST | DATE: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21

SENATOR BENTLEY: As Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, I’d like to convene our sixth public hearing. We continue over from yesterday our witness, a Mister Frank James Bartko. The Sergeant-at-Arms will swear in the witness.

[The witness is sworn and seated.]

SENATOR BENTLEY: Mister Bartko, I believe even the public’s sometimes limitless patience for more lies and deceit has been exhausted by current events, so I will simply skip the niceties and get right into it. Will that be acceptable with you?

MR. BARTKO: Yes, sir. It will.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Fine. Now as we concluded yesterday, you testified under oath that you had never heard of the organization known as Majestic-12, Majic-12, MJ-12 or simply Majic, or Majestic. Would you care to revise your testimony today, given that you had the evening to refresh your memory?

MR. BARTKO: No, sir. I’ll stand by that statement.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Do I have to remind you that you are under oath, even as we speak?

MR. BARTKO: I understand that fact very well.

SENATOR BENTLEY: But you have never heard of this organization?

MR. BARTKO: Well, I’ve heard of it now. It’s been in the papers and your people seem to believe that I was a part of it somehow.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Part of it somehow. Like an innocent bystander?

MR. BARTKO: No, sir. As you pointed out, my testimony is that I was never a part of such organization.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Then why is your name, sir, on this memorandum, dated September 4, 1991? (speaks to staff) Please show Mister Bartko, the Committee’s Exhibit, 3-B.

(The witness examines the exhibit.)

MR. BARTKO: I can only assume that it is a fraudulent document created by political enemies during this turbulent period where it seems more important to find scapegoats than it does to find the truth.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Three sworn witnesses have testified before this committe, sir, that the memo is authentic and that you were not only a member of Majestic-12 or Majic-12 but that you were, in actual fact, its leader for a period of nine years. Are those witnesses then lying, sir?

MR. BARTKO: It appears they are.

SENATOR BENTLEY: At any time in the last forty years, sir, have you yourself ever been at a crash retrieval site of an extraterrestrial spacecraft?

MR. BARTKO: Not to the best of my knowledge.

SENATOR BENTLEY: I would think that such an event would make an impression on a man.

MR. BARTKO: I have been to no such sites.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Have you ever seen an extra-terrestrial biological entity, sometimes known as an Eben, currently known as an Other, either dead or alive?

MR. BARTKO: Not one I would recognize.

(laughter from audience)

SENATOR BENTLEY: Is this amusing to you somehow, Mister Bartko?

MR. BARTKO: Actually, yes it is.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Well, by all means, share the humor with us.

MR. BARTKO: I find it amusing that with a potential threat of invasion now hovering over us, literally and figuratively, that the United States Congress would focus its energy on the past and not the future. I find it downright laughable that my own service record with the U.S. Armed Forces should be subjected to such innuendo and smear and that my years of service be so diminished before the public I swore an oath to protect. And I believe that it is ludicrous that my forty-five years in private business, where I created over seven-hundred and fifty jobs, should be characterized by you and your commmittee as a front for some nefarious and illicit purpose. So, yes, Senator, the whole thing does amuse me.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Given that the President of the United States himself has disclosed the reality of an extra-terrestrial presence on this planet, doesn’t it strike you as reasonable that an organization created to monitor that presence in the past should come forward and tell the American people what it knows?

MR. BARTKO: You’re asking me a hypothetical.

SENATOR BENTLEY: Do you believe an organization called Majestic-12 or Majic-12 existed, or that an organization by a different name but with the mandate of managing extra-terrestrial contact was created?

MR. BARTKO: Senator, I’m a businessman. I have enough trouble getting my employees to stop stealing office supplies and calling in sick when they’re not. Aliens, that’s above my paygrade.

(laughter from the audience)

SENATOR BENTLEY: The committee will recess for fifteen minutes to give you time to confer with your lawyer on the penalties of perjury to a congressional committee, Mister Bartko. (gavels) We’re in recess.

The Whole World Is Watching

Americans of a certain age remember the Senate Watergate Hearings. They will seem small compared to what is to come. The new hearings — about UFOs — will go on months, then become nearly permanent, as billions of people worldwide watch them.

It won’t be just the U.S. Senate and House. The United Nations will get into the act and countries like Russia, China, the United Kingdom, France, Brazil and others will start their own investigations.

While much is unpredictable, it’s likely that Republicans and Democrats will figure out a way to be on different sides. The GOP could do a callback to Reagan’s famous “Trust, but Verify” policy with Senator Marco Rubio leading the Hawks. Will there be Doves? How will Democrats frame their response?

In the end, however, their grandstanding and arguing will still expose a central fact that changes everything.

They’re Already Here

We don’t have to listen for radio signals from space to have a conversation, despite what S.E.T.I. proponents would like us to believe. They’re here already, whoever they are. Hiding in plain sight for almost eight decades during which we convinced ourselves that they did not exist.

Whoever these Others truly are, they have had the power to demonstrate their reality to our entire planet in a more straightforward way that has gone on for 73 years. The secrecy was their choice, too. They could have ended it any time they wanted to and they have not done so. So, there is one thing that Humans and Others already can be know to have agreed upon, it is that they both think the presence of a phenomenon is best not brought up the unwashed masses.

It will be obvious that only the tip of a cosmically large iceberg has been seen, but the glimpse offered will prove the off-world nature of what we are facing. Something strange has been going on and we are very late to the party in acknowledging it.

There’s no slowing it down. The global conversation will go straight to the non-human intelligence lane and hit the gas pedal.

Naturally, outside of those hearings rooms, the world is going to be freaking out. We will be done (we hope) with wearing masks and social distancing when this is picking up steam, the economy may be shaky, the Earth’s systems may be in greater spasm, but the cherry on top is going to be aliens.

The best choice for this country is to have an epiphany on a societal level, one that recognizes that things have changed and we need to change as well. We will need to see less red and blue, and more gray.

Some of us might be angry about the deceptions we’ll be learning about. There will be real protests, not cute Facebook parties outside Area 51, but ones full of content and passion. Some people involved in the architecture of the cover-up are going to jail. Others are going to be state’s witnesses and fess up to some uncomfortable truths before the entire world.

Our institutions will writhe with change. Education, health care, science, culture, law, the military, government. Everything and everybody, already shocked by pandemic and injustice, will be shocked again and profoundly so.

People get ready.
