Summary

The article discusses the potential misuse of advanced technologies by government and private entities to control and manipulate public opinion and mental health, and criticizes the term "conspiracy theory" as a tool to dismiss legitimate concerns.

Abstract

The author, Hennessy Collins, expresses concern over the U.S. government's development of mind-reading and mind-control technologies, as well as the potential for these technologies to be misused by private surveillance companies. Collins highlights the dangers of Artificial Intelligence and the ability to manipulate human minds, drawing attention to the increase in mental health disorders that could be linked to these advancements. The article also criticizes the use of the term "conspiracy theory" as a means to silence critical discussions about the implications of such technologies, suggesting that this dismissive label prevents necessary debate and legislation to protect citizens from potential abuses of power.

Opinions

  • The author identifies as a progressive Democrat but is critical of the party's use of the term "conspiracy theory" to shut down discussions.
  • There is a belief that the government and scientific community have access to technologies that can influence mental states, such as inducing pain or mental illness.
  • The author asserts that the increase in cases of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder may be linked to the government's remote manipulation capabilities.
  • Yuval Noah Harari and Mo Gawdat are cited to support the claim that there is a real possibility of hacking human brains and that controls on AI are urgently needed.
  • The CIA is accused of coining the term "conspiracy theory" to discourage critical thinking and debate about government actions and policies.
  • The author calls for the term "conspiracy theory" to be abandoned, arguing that it is outdated and hinders the recognition of real threats to society.

Two Words Are Aiding in the Collapse of the United States

If you’ve been accused of believing in Conspiracy Theories — here’s the article that vindicates you!

What type of girl am I politically? I’m the 22 year old college-grad progressive type who watches MSNBC and Democracy Now daily. My favorite foods are pizza and sushi. The music that moves me is usually by much older artists like Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Philip Glass and Beyonce (King Bey in my house)…I read The New Yorker, I sleep with my panties down, ”The Sexy Part of the Bible” by Kola Boof is my favorite novel of all time, I’m watching any film that stars Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicole Beharie or Kristen Stewart no matter the quality…and…the Korean chick who does my nails every Saturday affectionately dubbed me “the girl with combination skin” because I am Black American dating a White Jewish snack.

To Republicans this usually sounds like I’m a whole ‘woke nut job.’ But to Democrats, Independents and Libertarians it usually sounds like I am someone to…at least…consider listening to. Hopefully, whichever of those four walls you’re closest to, you’ll weigh my musings with a rational open mind. You will consider the facts I present here. You will not immediately retreat into denial just because it’s scary to contemplate certain realities about the ERA we’re living in.

But first you have to consider the nature of world governments (both historically and including recent history) and the core purpose of security agencies like the CIA.

Two years ago (2022) I was watching MSNBC when they suddenly reported the U.S. government’s official announcement that it has now perfected the technology to [1.] Read people’s minds (after a lengthy brain-mapping process that can be done remotely by Darpa) and or [2.] impose mind control (originally called MKUltra) on people via radio waves and satellite signals.

Holy Shit! Our government has the power to do all of that?

I just knew that this news reported by such a reputable venue as MSNBC was about to blow up in the streets as the biggest story of the year — I expected friends at work the next day to be consumed with talk of it — I thought I’d overhear shoppers in line at Trader Joe’s commenting about it. BUT NO. Nothing. And just like that…all the internet links and all transcripts of the original broadcast by MSNBC were miraculously scrubbed out of existence— the story totally vanished — but a less dystopian sounding version of these technological abilities, this time focusing on mind reading alone, was updated by MSNBC in 2023 — you can watch it here (Click link).

Shortly after that report — talk of ‘the dangers of Artificial Intelligence’ brought about the disclosure of even more extraordinarily terrifying facts that I could never have imagined.

Yuval Noah Harari — one of the world’s most respected public intellectuals as well as one of Israel’s top Professor/Historians appeared in several interviews where he emphatically stated, “They now have the power to hack our brains. And no one is talking about this. But it will eventually become the most important new development of this age — having the power to hack the human mind means unlimited possibilities for control, domination and any configuration of suppression or oppression as the world’s power brokers see fit — including bad actors.”

On that same television program, an American Scientist named Mo Gawdat quipped: “Not to alarm the public, but the reality is — if our government wanted to give someone, say a dissident, a migraine headache or a toothache — we can now do that from three thousand miles away using low frequency radio waves. This is the reason that it’s gravely important that controls be put on Artificial Intelligence. But it’s not actually the governments who control or have access to this intelligence — it’s the Scientific community — and all manner of technology is now being Out-sourced to private surveillance companies, private detective agencies run by ex-Seals and ex-FBI. We have no way of knowing who has what. And there’s bound to be bad actors getting their hands on the intelligence and weaponizing it against us.”

A few weeks later, the U.S. government’s National Institute of Health announced that new studies revealed (((an alarming growth in the numbers of young men who developed Paranoid Schizophrenia simply by smoking marijuana))))). I literally said, “Fuck out of here with that b.s.”

But in fact, over the next six months I noticed a sudden plethora of published reports about how (((a rapidly increasing number of Americans suffer from Bipolar and Paranoid Schizophrenic disorders)))).

Now think about this for a minute — the government’s favorite way, historically, of silencing people who ask questions has always been to simply write them off as mentally ill. But now because of technology it’s so much easier to do. Anyone who writes an article like this one or dares publicly question policies can be unceremoniously (by whatever method) made to look crazy — our very minds can be taken from us. And yet we don’t think that’s important enough to give serious discussion and legislation to.

Which brings me to what this article is about…

Two words that were created and introduced to the general public by the CIA absolutely get on my nerves. I hate these TWO/WORDS because they invite blindness; they encourage cowardice and are designed to silence us. They are 2 WORDS that are woefully aiding and abetting what many people fear is the possible collapse of the United States by silencing proper discussion and debate — those two words are 1. Conspiracy and 2. Theory. Yes, the CIA’s brilliant double cocktail that gives perfectly intelligent and rational people permission to willfully not see what they are seeing — to be impotent — all with the dismissive words “Conspiracy theory.

How oh how can all of my friends even utter the term “conspiracy theories” or make a comment like — don’t tell me you believe in these conspiracy theories like one of those idiot Conservative Republicans” — HOW oh HOW in light of all the Scientific revelations and straight up weird happenings that are suddenly occurring all over this country every single day can perfectly intelligent people still use the CIA invented term “conspiracy theory” to silence and dismiss those of us who want to ask questions about how these new rapidly growing technologies are going to be weaponized and used to abuse the masses?

Have we forgotten Hitler and the Psychopath Gangs that plague the human gene pool? We think that type of person no longer exists? And SINCE WHEN have men greedy for power and control not used every tool at their disposal to at least attempt the highest riches and world domination?

I just do not understand people who insert the term “conspiracy theories” as a way to shut down discussion and contemplation. And it makes me very sad that the people doing this the most are Progressive or Liberal Democrats, which means they’re my people.

I think it is time that we begin to stop choosing denial and blindness (because we’re so afraid of the next global atrocity — the next epic scaled evil psychosis on par with genocide, racism and rape). It is truly time for us to start shutting down the term “conspiracy theory.” The term is now stupid and outdated.

I don’t want to hear that term said to me… ever again in this life.
