Build your creativity
Two Ways: How To Organise Your Creativity While It Is Going Wild on Your Mind
I have days that I don’t have any creativity in my mind. There are days I have too much creativity on my mind.
Everything I have on my mind will be well-considered to be a story or not. When I decide that it will become a story, then I have a wonderful notebook and I will write senses that show me what the story is all about. Sometimes I add more information about the line of the story. Then I will add specific information about what I still need to find out.
Most of the stories are a thing I have been through or I heard things on the street or I had lovely conversations with family, friends and my children (they have such great sense of humor and look into our world). As said, when I hear something interesting I will write it down in my notebook. I always carry it with me. I am afraid I will lose the ideas if I don’t write it in my notebook. It sounds ridiculous. But that is how I feel about that.
Creativity is everywhere. At least, I see it everywhere. I have so many interests that I can write about that too. But I also have to be careful not to write everything in my notebook.
Two ways on how to organize all the ideas in our head
For each person, it is different how things work, but there are two things you can do to make things organized for your brain.
- Get a notebook with tabs. Then put the ideas into categories. You’ll see that you’re more organized. Use sticky notes to make subcategories within the main category.
- When you work on Medium, you can download the app on your phone. Work fast on this app while you’re on the road. Write your idea as a draft on your phone app from Medium and work it further on your laptop when you have wifi. When there is no mobile app, you should take your notebook with you or you could write it in your standard app notes on your phone. I also like the Notebook app from Zoho. You can get it in the AppStore or play store.
Get a notebook with tabs
I highly recommend you to buy a beautiful notebook with tabs. In this way you can add different categories into your writing system. Then you’ll be organized this way. Within these four main categories, you could add subcategories by using sticky notes. Or anything that works for you.
Download the app on your phone
If there is an app on your phone from you can use it. Download it immediately. Like Medium. I use it to Amie my drafts in the first place and then when I need better WiFi to revise the next draft I’ll use my laptop. This ap is useful when you’re on the road. When I walk back home after bringing the children to school I walk and make a draft on my phone. Of course when there is no danger on the road. PLEASE DON’T USE YOUR PHONE WHEN DRIVING OR CYCLING!!
When I started writing on Medium I just started writing my notes in my notebook. No clue how I’d start this journey. When I got more other projects I started using my notebook differently.
There are more reasons to use your empty notebooks:
- Bullet journal
- Goal tracker
- List maker
- Party planner
- Health journal
- Diary
- Habit tracker
You name it for whatever you can use an empty notebook.
