I am an avid fan of life and living it to the fullest.
After reading hundreds of articles, I didn’t find all my answers from these so-called New York best-selling authors.
Even the most famous content creator didn’t satisfy the answers I was searching for until I studied and immersed myself in just one book.
The Bible.
Some minds find it boring, and others even claim it outdated, but the more I study it. The more I get enlightened with the truth about life and human existence.
Please do not let go.
Stay with me for a minute or two, and give me a chance to share the factual lessons I learned after spending time to understand what the Bible teaches about life, relationships, careers, and everything.
Rock-bottom experiences test true character.
The life of Job inspires me.
Despite the death of his children and the loss of his wealth — he kept going with his faith and walk in life.
Although Job experienced such disasters, he knew everything was in control, and there was more to life than defeat.
It is difficult to comprehend things and experiences — no matter how bad they may seem, they will uncover our real character.
People will either hold on or let go.
Consume food that satisfies you.
It is tiring to live in a world of discontent.
You dream of a car, that’s good.
Once given to you, you still feel discontent and desire for another because your neighbor has a better version than yours.
Prayers were answered for a big house, but after several years, you want something better because you feel that your current one no longer fits your lifestyle.
And the list goes on.
I was once like this and sometimes felt the urge for something better; then I bumped into this verse where Jesus talks with a Samaritan Woman.
Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
John 4:13–14 (NIV)
During my quiet times, I would dwell on these verses repeatedly, and they speak to me about how I can experience a satisfying and contented life.
Instead of pursuing things that become the focus of your life (modern idolatry), consume yourself with food (God’s Word) to learn more about Him and what he wants us to do in life.
Sadly, most people ignore the Bible because it appears to some as outdated or unreal.
Some do not realize that most of the wisdom they see from manuscripts comes from the Bible. Name any subject, and you will find the answers there.
Growing your money, increasing your marriage, Choosing friends, etc. It is the reason why it is called the Book of Life.
