Two Redbubble POD Products You Must Focus on For Maximum Profit
How To Maximize Profit In Print On Demand by focusing on bestselling types.
Print on Demand (POD) is a wonderful passive income opportunity that allows creatives to make an online income while creating work that they love. There are different platforms to join if you want to get started on print on demand, among them Redbubble, Teespring, Zazzle, and Etsy.
My favorite platform for creating POD products is Redbubble. I use it with Canva to create designs and easily optimize them for print on demand products.
I discussed my experience on Redbubble, including an income reveal, tools I used, and my step-by-step strategy to making passive income in the article below:

Why Redbubble?
I chose Redbubble as I found it was one of the easiest platforms to use.
- They allow you to upload up to 20 designs at a time and edit them in one go.
- Redbubble gives you the option to customize the royalty percentage and the price for each of the product types.
- Encourages you to enable all product types to maximize profit.
- There is a wider variety of product types apart from the regular POD style t-shirts, mugs, and stickers.
- You are able to make designs for puzzles, metal canvas prints, tapestries, backpacks, and hats, among many others.
I started on Redbubble two years ago, during that time I learned the importance of focusing on specific product types to maximize profit.
The two best product types that I found work amazingly well are stickers and tapestries.
Although each of them is priced and sized at the end of the scale, focusing on creating a custom design for these two product types is very rewarding and profitable.
Important Points To Consider
- With both of these product types, you need to pay attention to niching down and attacking high traffic, high demand keywords.
- Following the trending and seasonal design was necessary to attract a surge of traffic.
- Incorporate evergreen designs that will attract buyers all year round.
Stickers
Sticker sells like crazy.

- Although these little beauties are small in size and very affordable, do not underestimate their potential.
- Customers, especially the younger generation tend to buy bulk amounts at a time and are driven by trending designs, quotes, and illustrations.
- Stickers have different uses, they can be placed to design computer cases, on the walls, and in journals.
- You can get started by focusing on text-based design then incorporating small elements and scaling up to making sticker packs.
- Sticker packs are one of my bestsellers since they provide theme-based stickers for the price of one larger sticker.
- You can start at the smaller royalty percentage then scale as high as 200% royalty.
- Don’t worry they will still sell but if you are opting for a higher royalty then be prepared to invest your time and energy in promoting them.

Tapestries
Tapestries are the second hottest selling product type for me. Be prepared to adjust the sizing and upload another version with smaller sizing for stickers and mugs, etc.
These beauties are more expensive price, but if the designs are good, then they will attract sales. Tapestries can be used to decorate walls, prove a statement and a strong visual element in a home.
I find that a good percentage of 20% yields great results for me, but I have seen creators boost it to 35%.
Due to the royalty being much higher than other product types, make sure to invest the time and energy to design visually appealing tapestries. You can focus on trending designs such as affirmations, celestial, astrology-based, and floral designs.

Take-aways
The choice is yours.
Would you want to invest more time and energy creating tapestries that bring in more revenue?
Or would you opt for the consistent smaller sales of stickers and potential increase the visibility and traffic of your store?
- Either way, make sure to enable all products because you never know which product type your customer will be attracted to.
