This book captured me in the universe of the Twisted Series, and I couldn’t leave it until I finished them all. After reading Twisted Love, I had to get the last three books immediately. I happened to be on holiday in London at the time, so I began a frantic search in several London bookshops to get the books. I could return to Norway with a suitcase full of books and several hours of enjoyable reading ahead of me.

The Twisted Series is about the four school friends Ava, Bridget, Jules, and Stella. We follow each of them through complications, intrigues, and changes and get to know the story of how they find the love of their life.

The Plot

In Twisted Love, we follow Ava Chen and Alex Volkov. Ava is a senior in college and dreams about being a photographer. Alex is best friends with Josh, Ava’s brother. When Josh has to go out of town for a while, he asks Alex to look after Ava.

Ava and Alex have known each other vaguely for years, but they are not friends. Ava is positive, kind, and caring. She struggles with confusing memories and phobias due to events in the past. Alex is a tough business owner who seeks revenge on those who killed his family when he was a young boy.

She is light-hearted, and he is gloomy. Mix these two, and you’ll get an irresistible story.
