Twin Flames

A poem to the one(s) I’ve always known

When we meet we reunite in each and every space, and time here, and everywhere — all at once

When we touch each incarnation of you touches each one of mine since the beginning — until the end

With your caress I feel you far before you reach my wanting skin; a fading imprint —that always was

When we kiss no start or end, but fixed in timelessness our nearing lips —never parted

And so we float; current bound in this vast, unending sea side by side —together

And so we burn; two dancing flames in this great, undying fire interwound —apart
