Twenty-Four Hours, Quietly
GiaB prompt #15 illumination
I once kept wrapped, from dawn through dark, my face in strips of Clorox.
I didn’t cover myself in oiled muslin, to even my tone, to drown my spots,
Until the sun snuck beneath My bedroom door, and waited there - Like a tube of cheap, Fluorescent kitchen light.
