Turn Rejection Into Money $$$

One publication’s trash is another pub’s treasure

My friend Yana Bostongirl wrote a great piece about rejection on Medium. Her lesson learned:

I couldn't agree more.

I know it sucks but receiving a ‘no’ is part of the game of online writing. Being able to accept rejection is an even bigger part of it.

Don’t let rejection hold you down but push you forward.

Rejection…

• is completely normal
• happens to everyone — even standup comedians have experienced it. For instance, Kevin Hart received hundreds of rejections. Today, he has a net worth of $200 million.

Maybe this time the editors didn’t see in your text what you wanted them to see, but that doesn’t mean that there’s not (even a bigger) pub that will.
