TURBULENCE
It’s time to put on your Positivity Belt
Emotional Turbulence. … isn’t it something we all dread. We hate to think of it coming anywhere near us for we know what it gives. It leaves us with negative effects on how we perceive our fellow humans, various lifestyles, and all our situations.
It’s simple to say but difficult to understand that whenever we think of an emotional as well as mental situation someone is in, it changes our view and leads us to be a stronger and more resilient self.
Since we human beings let our emotions rule us, they in return dominate all our moves, actions as well as reactions. Even at times when we try to avoid its occurrence and it still takes place, controlling our emotions in such situations is then, beyond our control.
However, many of us think, especially the menfolk, that only the weak have feelings. So at the first chance of developing feelings, they considering themselves strong, start to suppress it, or push it aside.
They need to know that to have feelings is normal and feelings won’t judge if you are logical, egoistic, or disciplined to push them away. You need to remember that feelings are feelings and they will always be present within you and around you to absorb and experience.
The only difference is how you deal with them. You can handle them well in every circumstance and let them flow or let them interrupt and disrupt your being, the choice is entirely yours!
Emotional Quotient or Feelings — What’s more important to you?
Among the various types of people, the people who take their emotional and physical health seriously always have in them a positive streak. A positiveness that is deep routed hence enabling them to experience emotions in a highly favorable manner.
They have learned over time that feelings and emotions that pave the pathway to positivity give you a greater sense of accomplishment in instances of contentment, happiness, and joy when compared to monetary accomplishments.
These are the feelings you can easily share without a second thought whereas when it comes to cash .. obviously you’d think once or maybe even twice before giving it out, as it’s at that moment your negative emotions take charge.
After all, it’s in such situations that many people end up covering their negative emotions presenting only the positive ones at the forefront.
Many times all we tend to do is try and find our safe zone during an emotional time.
We always forget that doing this is just temporary as in reality there is no way and nothing that can make us replace negative experiences with positive ones. You need to remember that it’s life and it doesn’t work at our command.
All that we can do is try our best to overcome those experiences in an understanding way and look at the positive spark within those and what lies ahead.
Let’s suppose if as a child, you had a pet and it died, wouldn’t you be heartbroken? You would be a little mess and so to make you sort yourself out and make you overcome your sorrow, what would your parents do?
They would surely buy you another pet as a surprise and soon before you know it, you would be finding joy and happiness in that, forgetting about the tragedy.
So haven’t you simply struck the chord of positivity amidst a negative situation?
Have you found a way to emerge strong and positive from a weak, vulnerable, negative, and emotionally weak phase?
Let’s hear your answers in the responses until we continue with Part 2 of this short read soon.
Till then,
Stay Happy, Healthy and Safe,
